Introducing birdsong, a Bare Necessities Exclusive Brand

We know we’re not alone when we say this: When it comes to bras, we’re so done with choosing between great fit or great fashion, great quality or great price, being supported or being comfortable. That’s why we couldn’t be more excited to introduce you to our exclusive new lingerie and intimate apparel brand, birdsong.

Support and style rarely intersect, but birdsong lives right in that sweet spot—even in the “hard to find” sizes. With inclusive sizing (U.S.-size bands 30-44 and cups B-H) and modern styling, women can now find bras that both fit and support without sacrificing appearance. Really thoughtful design includes touches like U-shaped underwires that bring you in and up at every size, strap adjusters with tiny ‘teeth’ so they stay right where they belong, fully adjustable straps that let you get your ideal fit and cushioned hook-and-eye clasps and seam-free styles that feel so comfortable, you forget you’ve even got a bra on.

Birdsong has been created and fit-tested by women who know bras, so the fit is easy, the vibe is effortless. They look good on; they feel good on; they come in the size you need and the look you like. For the confidence to be who you want to be when you step out your door, you have to know who you are underneath. You and no one else define your style, your sexy, your self. And at Bare Necessities, we know it all starts with a foundation that makes you feel unstoppable.

The four birdsong bras you’re about to meet are just the beginning. This cool lifestyle brand is poised to keep growing, with even more comfortable bras for even more shapes and sizes. (A little birdie told us that an entire collection bra-sized swimwear—plus-sizes, too—is in the works.) Because when it comes to lingerie at least, we still believe in having it all. No compromises. Introducing birdsong.

Meet Birdsong Bras

Lily Comfort T-Shirt Bra (bands 32-40, cups B-H)
Lily is as close to custom-made as you can get. A full-cup T-shirt bra, Lily’s lightweight, strong but soft hybrid memory foam cups conform to your body and stay perfectly molded for the easiest fit and most comfortable lift. Lily’s silky stretch fabric gives you a great shape and great support. Finally, coverage and style all in one amahzing bra.

Ayla T-Shirt Bra (bands 30-42, cups B-H)
Ayla’s signature foam cups were specially designed for full busts. Shaping, lifting, supportive and super comfortable, Ayla creates a smooth silhouette no matter what you’re wearing. A full, deep-cup T-shirt bra with mesh in the band, this one is made to support a full bust; with stronger support than the Lily, Ayla is a lot like a U.K.-sized T-shirt bra, with contemporary American styling. Thin pads are firm yet supersoft. This is the one you’ll want to put on every day.

Emerson Balconette Bra (bands 30-40, cups B-H)
Emerson gives a subtle lift that’s as perfect for Monday to Friday as it is for a night out. As a good balconette bra should, wide-set straps and lightly lined, clamshell-inspired comfort cups with vertical seams bring shallow, average and full breasts in and up without bulky push-up padding. Be on the lookout for a “natural” color, coming soon.

Camilla Side Support Bra (bands 32-44, cups B-H)
Camilla is seriously supportive. With pretty seamed yet unlined four-part cups trimmed in modern lace, full busts and full figures get that gorgeous, rounded look and a confident lift. Love the modern, unfussy lace—the black even has a touch of navy blue in it. Seams are flat, which feel as good as they make you look.
